Pia Leighton is an artist, writer, mother, and educator whose work is rooted in the belief that creativity is a vital part of emotional well-being. As a certified Reiki Master Teacher in the Pause in Joy lineage, her energy practice guides her teaching, offering an environment where children can explore art as a means of connecting with their inner world. Her approach emphasizes imagination, presence, spatial and emotional awareness, and the joy of allowing each child to express themselves uniquely, in alignment with the teachings of Pause in Joy. Pia holds a PhD in Spanish Literature from NYU.
